I was watching a program on ships the other night and we U.S. of A import tons of material from China and that region. Those container ships are full when they come over and we ship them back empty and our landfills are filling up. This county is becoming nothing but one big trash pile because we have to keep up with the Jones and remodel our homes and contents every few years. All materials that are used are made with CO2 and add to the Global Warming. This Precious Earth has seen its best days and we will see nothing but a constant decline in our lifetime, even if we make an effort now. Its the third world country's that will hurt this planet the most. The 2008 Earth day is here again and there will be plenty of people and groups coming out of the woodwork to save the planet, but its mostly for personal gain. We (man/woman) have done so much damage in the last 100 years that it is sad to review all the areas that are effected such as; polluting our oceans with trash or raw sewage, dumping hazardous chemicals, polluting our air which is effectin our children with Asthma, building over our fertile soil, filling up land fills as high as skyscrapers, not recycling, over fishing the oceans and so many other. To end this reply I would like to wish everyone a happy 2008 EARTH DAY Thanks Doug Moreschi From Saint Cloud a non-recycling community We are a throw away society.
